".....I purchased this Macbook about 5 Month ago, and I have to say that I'm genuinely satisfied. I come from the high-end Windows laptop user base; my previous laptop was a Dell XPS. I thought the transition would be difficult at best and would take some time to fully familiarize myself with the new Mac ecosystem. If you are considering switching from a Windows computer, do it. I have no regrets. OS X is simply amazing, and while there is a learning curve if you're coming from another OS, it's easy as pie to understand. Everything just works on a Mac. WIth the exception of some games- but with Boot Camp you can install Windows on any Mac. And this MacBook looks as good as it performs. Simple details, crafted aluminium and real glass make this laptop blow away the other plastic ridden, bulky sticker filled laptops. This computer exceeds my expectations in almost every category.

My only issues with the laptop are as follows:
1) It looks beautiful. Yes, that's a good thing, but it's made from aluminum that scratches easily. You're better off buying a case alongside the purchase of your mac. A keyboard cover also wouldn't hurt. A scratch on a $1,500 MacBook is unforgivable.
2) There is no HDMI port. This is an issue for me, as I frequently connect my computer to my television. But there is a simple solution; purchase a mini-displayport to HDMI adapter.
3) The sound on this laptop is severely lacking. On my previous XPS (and other mid-range laptops) sound really wasn't an issue. But with this laptop, the bass is very weak and the sound comes out sounding tinny. My solution to this was to purchase Boom by Global Delight ([...]). Boom is a software application that adds sort of system wide equalizer to the Mac, thus affecting all outgoing sounds. It's a good fix, in my opinion. I have it set up to bass boost all the time, and the music comes out sounding decent, if not SLIGHTLY tinny (MUCH less tinny than before).

So there you have it. And if price is a concern, you're really paying for build quality. I've never seen any other laptop at this quality for much cheaper. ....."

".....well, actually the EA4500 just goes right through them. Setup was easy for me, I consider myself average, but some simple steps were left out of the instructions that might not be obvious to beginners. There is a download that will take a few minutes so be patient.

Our range was improved by about 30%, also saw about the same increase in speed compared to our old D-Link DIR-615. Our house is an old, big house with lots of nooks and crannies, so many spots had no coverage without an extender. The EA4500 covers our whole house with no need for an extender. Because of the great range make sure your network is secure. Have not had a chance yet to see how it handles more than one device at the same time but should know soon and will update.

Adding other devices is actually very easy and there is even a guest password. There are a lot of features that I have not had a chance to explore yet but will
update when I do. A very good router is a must have with more and more devices and everyday appliances adding wireless features. Hands down, best router I have ever had, very, very highly recommended.

Almost a month later. Still have not explored the advanced features yet but now have added several devices, including 2 PCs, several phones and an Ipad. Have had 4 devices on at one time and no noticeable change in the level of service but the thing that has amazed me the most is that I HAVE NOT HAD TO RESET THE EA4500 OR MY MODEM AT ALL SINCE I GOT THE EA4500! I am using a Cisco modem supplied by my provider. Took the Ipad outside and noticed no change in service within a few feet from the house, sitting on the steps. This thing rocks, get it, everything is going wireless, a must have. ....."

".....The MacBook Pro line is, of course, at the top of Apple products. The setup of this machine was smooth. I was able to transfer all of the data and applications from my previous MacBook Pro to this new gadget without any issues at all. At setup it asked if I had another Mac I wanted to use to load documents, etc, from and it gave me an option for methods of doing so.

The picture quality is simply incredible, I love that the keyboard is backlit, and the touchpad is so streamlined it actually makes it easier to use. It is faster. It has more memory. It's, without a doubt, the best laptop I've ever owned. I'm constantly on the go, so the thin size of the laptop is also a huge plus. I should of bought a laptop sleeve when I first bought my Mac, my only regret. After spending over a grand on this amazing device, I'm doing like everything I can to protect it.

I highly recommend getting some type of laptop sleeve with it, Laptop Sleeve 15 inch Neoprene Surf Art Style, there's something about this particular design that I just love. Makes such a difference now that I use it daily. Besides the actual case being lightweight and tough, it fits my Mac like a glove, I recommend it. In summary, the Apple Macbook Pro is second to none. The speed of the processor alone is worth the purchase price, my internet speed literally tripled when I first got online with my Mac. Highly Recommended! ....."Apple MacBook Pro 2012

".....This is without a doubt one of the best computers that I've ever owned and used! For those wondering, the specs I have on mine are: 2.8 GHz dual-core Intel Core i7 processor, 4 GB of memory, and a 128 GB solid state drive. The SSD is probably the best part of my MacBook Pro. In terms of speed, I think SSDs just leapfrog right over traditional hard drives.

One of the things I hate about hard drives is that there's a bottleneck that restricts how fast they can go. There is virtually no bottleneck with an SSD. Both reading and writing to the SSD here in this MacBook Pro is exceptionally fast. Also, it makes boot-up, shutdown, and sleep extremely fast. Even the first boot up was blazing fast! Since there are no moving parts with an SSD, it is absolutely silent. The only thing that might hinder some people about upgrading to an SSD is the price. As most of us know, the price of traditional hard drives (despite the flooding in Thailand) is much lower than that of SSDs. Flash memory is still quite expensive nowadays.

But, I'm sure as more SSD manufacturers keep springing up in the marketplace, the price of them will hopefully soon go down, become standard, and (hopefully) have capacities as giant as some current hard drives. Another thing that I like about the MacBook Pro is the keyboard, which I'm using right now to type this review. Now that I've had my MacBook Pro for a little over a day now, I've come to appreciate the chicklet-style keys that Apple uses in all of their keyboards. It's nice and quiet, and it is such a joy to type on! It is also backlit, which really helps in low-light situations. The trackpad on here is also of excellent quality. It does a much better job of tracking than my previous Dell Inspiron 1525, and it can do things that it couldn't do. The speakers, in my opinion, could be better. Sure, they sound OK and are loud enough (much louder than my Dell Inspiron 1525 at that), but they still could be a little better.

Apple's site advertises that this model has a subwoofer built-in to the internal speakers. I think that is kind of a lie. There is virtually no bass. But, that's OK because I'm still using my Logitech AudioHub speakers, which do indeed have a built-in subwoofer. All in all, it's a great laptop for someone looking for a quality product, and Apple doesn't fail at all in doing that. The difference in quality between this laptop and my previous one is night and day! ....."Apple MacBook Pro 2012

".....Now, I've been looking for a new laptop for a while now, and I decided to wait and get one after Apple's WWDC; and it was well worth the wait. While watching the conference, I was hoping to find a computer that would work for me, and this is the one. As noted in the presentation, this is the highest resolution notebook around today. You can't get anything better. As well as being incredibly thin (though not as thin as the Macbook Air), it's also incredibly powerful. It's got the new Ivy Bridge processers, as well as a new graphics card. Another good thing about this is the addition of USB 3. No, not a USB 3 port that's separate from the USB 2; but for this computer, it's USB 2 and USB 3 being the same port. There are also two Thunderbolt ports, which can be used as either a data transfer port, like USB, or a video port, being known as MiniDisplay port. It's possible to get thunderbolt adapters to a gigabit ethernet port and a Firewire 800 port. You can also get an adapter that can transform MiniDisplay port video into VGA or DVI. Another great thing about this notebook, is the inclusion of HDMI, so you can connect it straight to your HDTV, which is what I intend to do. Flash memory is used instead of the hard drive, which is great. With the lower-end version, you get 256 GB of flash storage. With the higher end one, which is the one I got, it gives you 512 GB of flash storage, and configurable up to 768 GB.Apple Macbook Pro 2012

I've rambled on enough about how fantastic this machine is, so why don't I give you a list of Pros and Cons.
Pros:
Best display EVER put on a notebook
USB 3.0
Ivy Bridge
HDMI
Two thunderbolt ports
Great graphics
THIN!

Cons:
No optical drive (this isn't much of a problem, at least it wasn't for me)
no gigabit ethernet or FW 800 (as I said above, you can get thunderbolt adapters for these) ....."

".....I just got the Samsung Galaxy 2 Tab last weekend, but in the few days I've had it, I can say it's a wonderful device. About a year ago I was looking at netbooks to save weight and space when I travel. Then as tablets made more inroads to the market, I decided this would be the way to go. I'm very hapy with my purchase. The Galaxy is super quick to shift between pages, website, apps, etc. It loads pages quicker than any laptop, desktop, or phone I've worked with. I have an Android phone and through your gmail account, all your preferences and apps will synch up on your tablet too. If you want entertainment on a plane or in your hotel room, you can use netflix or the Samsung media hub to download shows and movies very easily. I like the OS, and the ICS seems to be great. Plus, you don't have to worry about what the folks at Apple like and dislike about IT technology. The 10.1" screen also seems to have a better aspect ratio than the Ipad, which means websites look good in native resolution. You don't need to view things in their "app" form unless you want to. Battery life seems very healthy, I can run about a day and a half of fairly intense use between charges. Which leads to my biggest complaint: the power cord for the charger is only about 36" long, so you have to find a really close outlet. Overall, I'm very happy with this, and will get a lot of use from this. If you are already an android or google user, you will too! .Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Inch...."

".....I got my TF300 a few days ago and I love it! I really wanted to wait for the Transformer Pad Infinity because of the nicer screen and the metal casing,  I felt that the TF300 would be a great deal and it is! I haven't tried to use the tablet outside, but inside the screen is bright and crisp - I have zero complaints about it.

Some of the best things about this tablet:

*It's able to run Flash programs
*Full keyboard dock
*customizability (Apple doesn't want you messing with anything except maybe where you put the apps on the screen)
*The ability to print on most printers using Google Cloudprint (Apple airprint lets you print on certain printers, but the list is short)
*Comes with Polaris Office (like Microsoft office and compatible with office and excel and power point)
*Much more compatible with a PC
*You can remotely control your PC using this tablet (really cool!)
*Way more apps than I thought there would be with all the hype about Apple's App Store having more - I have an iPhone and so I know there are gazillions of choices there, but if I didn't know better, I wouldn't have noticed the difference.
* You can use your PC to download apps directly to the TF300 without connecting it or anything.
*There's a widget you can use to kill all the running apps to save battery power.

As for the unit itself, it feels nice in my hands - the plastic doesn't feel chintzy, The touch screen is very responsive, the apps and browsing are fast and smooth (even with some really cool live wallpapers running in the background) ASUS Transformer TF300 T-B1-BL......"

".....If you are looking for a 7", well-functioning, affordable tablet to surf the web and consume content then this the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is one of the best options out there. I own a Kindle Fire and love it. It is all that I need when I'm ready to relax in the evening. However, the Galaxy Tab gets the advantage for being a budget media tablet. Here is why:

1) Hardware: Slightly lighter, slimmer. The Fire is a little easier to grip because of the back, but this is lighter to hold and carry. Front and back cameras. Who cares if they aren't the best because the Fire doesn't have either. Volume rocker makes volume adjustments simple.

2) Software: This is my first Android device and it runs smoothly and I haven't had any problems. There are a plethora of options for customizing this device to your needs.

3) Applications: No longer restricted by Amazon's App Store so you get to experience new apps that everyone is talking about sooner.

4) Media: Still have access to books and videos from Amazon either through Amazon Kindle app or Amazon's website. In addition, you now have access to Google's app, videos, music, games library. A strong ecosystem is important in the long run and like Amazon and Apple this device has that with Google.

I gave this device 5 stars because if you're looking at this tablet then you probably don't want to spend a lot of money and you want a smaller tablet. This is one of the best options out there. ....."
